Herts. & Essex Techies is a group for folks interested in I.T. and Software Development. The group is not focussed on any one specific technology and we encourage members with a diverse background: from Java, .NET, Android, iPhone, Ruby, etc. with interests in Cloud Computing (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.). The group aims to provide a regular opportunity for members to discuss and learn about the latest developments in the I.T. industry, share experiences, learn about other technologies and have some fun at the same time. The group also aims to encourage involvement with new Start-ups and Open-Source ventures.
