Session 1: SQL Server Data Services
SQL Server Data Services (SSDS) are highly scalable, on-demand data storage and query processing utility services. Built on SQL Server database and Windows Server technologies, these services provide high availability, security and support standards-based web interfaces for easy programming and quick provisioning. SSDS has the potential to completely change how you architect applications in the future. This session will look at what SSDS delivers today, how to take advantage of it in your own applications and what the future may hold.
Session 2: Building Data Driven Websites with the help of ASP.NET Dynamic Data
Dynamic Data brings rich new scaffolding capabilities to ASP.NET allowing you to very quickly create a data-driven website. Dynamic Data will create the UI, navigation and even validation for you as well as allowing you to add business logic and customise the UI in one central place to be re-used across your entire application. If you don’t need the scaffolding capabilities, Dynamic Data also enhances a number of existing ASP.NET controls allowing you to build your own pages while still leveraging many of the new features
