PHPNW February 2012 - Manchester, United Kingdom
happened 9 years ago
For our first UG meeting of 2012 we have Mark Baker giving a talk entitled "Why Should I Consider Compiling PHP?" It's a question that crops up quite frequently on PHP boards: how can I compile my PHP code? In The Brain of Russel Winder: Python is a High Performance Programming Language - London, United Kingdom
happened 9 years ago

Python is though the coordination language. Also Python is the language of writing user interfaces and performing data visualization. ctypes, SWIG, Boost.Python, and Cython all have roles to play in connecting Python to C++ and Fortran codes, making Python a far more flexible tool than Maple, Mathematica, etc.
