Paul Deitel has done a superb job at presenting the material a developer needs to have as a foundation to go forward towards mastery of C#. Paul obviously loves teaching and brings excellence to training that few can match. If I were to attend a class in C# I would want it done in exactly the manner it is presented in these videos. Definitely a great buy and a welcome addition to my library. I have recommend these videos to other developers learning C# and they all have agreed that Paul provides excellence in training few can match.

This was above what i was expecting. Deitel is a very good narrator, gives you the point that you need and know useless information, great examples that gets you understand perfectly what he is talking about. The coding that he shows just perfect and pro, you wont regret this buy in any way, pro's and beginners. Best articles that won this review is Inheritance and Polymorphism. Great Job LiveLessons!!!

I have been reading several books on programming and found that most books didn't do a good job of explaining the concepts clearly. I loved this book since it was easy to follow and the concepts were explained in detail.
The video is a must-see as it complements the concepts in the book.
This training really helped me learn how to program using C# and I highly recommend this product !!

They forget to mention that this "live lesson" is actually a follow along for the " C# 2008 for Programmers, 3/e " book. I'd say it is a prerequisite book for this video. He is using examples that are included on this DVD set, but without the C# 2008 Express edition, you can't really run them. So, if they would have mentioned this, I would have looked at alternatives. I don't believe the examples are compatible with Visual C# 2005 Express edition (at least not right out of the box!) How difficult would that piece of information have been to include in the sale sphiel for this product?
I also agree with the previous post, that a session on Silverlight seems like course developer's filler to enhance the "word count". C# 2008 FUNDAMENTALS.
