This book was thorough, VERY THOROUGH! It teaches you everything from using the Access templates to using HTML to post a database on the internet or the office intranet. It's over 1200 pages and the CD has even more material. The book itself can be read on the CD in PDF form. If you want to get your IT or MOUS certification, this is your book!
If you're looking for just an overview than check out Access 2007 for Dummies.

"Microsoft Office Access 2007 Inside Out" is just that - everything you could ever need or want to know about this powerful tool. Extremely well-written and chock-full of tips and samples, this book has been, and will continue to be, an invaluable resource in broading my skills and knowledge about MS Access 2007. This is the MS Access 2007 encyclopedia if ever there was one!

Well-written walk-through of a lot of the basics and advanced features of Access 2007. The interspersed hints and tips do a good job at answering possible questions and introducing future content. Includes details on how to create server-sized applications. The additional content on the CD is a plus, especially the tables explaining each macro action (I have very little programming experience). The black-and-white pics are a little boring, but an overall good price for the 1300+ page book and the CD.

I recommend this book to any Access developer. The content as well as the CD are well worth the price and offer a plethora of information you can use to develop simple to complex databases.

This book has a whole lot on what you can do, but not a whole lot on how to do it! I would return it if I could.
