Abstract: In this presentation Harnish will walk you step by step of getting a small Ubuntu 10.10 server (613 MB RAM 10GB EBS boot volume with  1 Elastic Processor) started on Amazon's awesome cloud platform. Further I will show you how to install the Apache, PHP, Mysql stack and a couple of open source apps on the platform. This will be a live presentation on the AWS platform and I will record this screencast for post session review by the attendees.

History: Harnish previously made this same presentation to the LA Drupal camp and WordCamp LA (Wordpress camp) last year in Los Angeles.
