With mobile web use is set to surpass desktop browsing within 4 years, the question to online retailers is not why should you go mobile, but when. With that being said, what is the best way to take your website mobile? What are the key considerations when designing it? What devices should you design for?
John Boxall will be talking about the process of making mobile websites. The topics will range from best-case-practice design tips, to security concerns when setting up commerce functionality and how he developed a new method of making mobile websites to deal with this.
About the Presenter
John is the co-founder and CTO of Mobify, a Vancouver based mobile web company whose platform powers such sites as Threadless, Kiwi Collection, The GAP iPad app, Wired, and the New Yorker.
