You've got this great idea for an Android application and you want to utilize the scalable and cost effective resources that the Cloud offers. How do you get all of the pieces (Android, Cloud, database, etc) to work together without focusing all your efforts on integration? Afterall, the fun part is building your Android application!

This session will show you how to:

  • Use WebORB's developer productivity tools to bootstrap your Android development
  • Configure native and non-native Android applications to invoke .NET and Java backend services using AMF remoting and RTMP;
  • Deploy server-side applications in the Microsoft Azure and Amazon EC2 clouds;
  • Load data from the server-side into a mobile application;
  • Exchange messages between different client types
  • Use various message queues for Publish-Subscribe messaging
  • Push messages from the server to the client
