Introduction to Knockout JS (Hady Osman)

Knockout is a javascript library that utilises the MVVM pattern to help create rich and responsive user interfaces with a clean underlying data model. The session would be a live demonstration of Knockout JS coding, whilst highlighting its point of difference from common DOM manipulation libraries such as jQuery.

CoffeeScript (Rowan Crawford)

Case Study - Javascript in Tight Loops (Jordan Bullivant)

I recently completed a canvas project with some neat effects (exocomics.com/200). Using the scene as a case study, I'd like to share some interesting things that I learned along the way - I'll be talking about optimising javascript for tight, fast loops, and discussing the current performance of javascript for full-frame animation.
