Many of us do what we consider “Work For Hire” but do we truly know what that means? What rights do we have over our work and what can we do if we want rights?

Michael Weiner of Glasner & Weiner will be educating us on The Work For Hire Doctrine. Michael is the Head of the Business and Technology Law Special Interest Group for LISTNet. His firm handles a wide variety of both business and legal issues. Michael has expertise in Finance, Corporate & Securities Mergers and Acquisitions, and Health Care Law. He is the utmost expert on Software and Intellectual Property Licensing.

Michael will help shed light on all aspects of the Work for Hire Doctrine, and what to look for when going into a Work For Hire situation. He will help explain what the doctrine covers and what rights you have while under this doctrine. He will also inform us on the issues that need to be addressed if developers want to retain their rights.

This will be a very informative and interesting event, we hope to see you there.
