Interacting with the DOM is one of the more expensive operations there is in front-end development. There are few ways to overcome the need to interact with the DOM in hopes of improving the performance, but one of them is to reduce DOM manipulation to a bare minimum.
Tonight's meetup will show how to use jQuery in order to effectively manipulate markup in memory while reducing the DOM interactions..
Come early to network with others interested in jQuery. Doors open at 6:50pm for socializing and networking.
