This all-day beginners class (presented by your organizer Amanda Giles, and co-organizer Carl Eric Johnson) will teach you about how WordPress works and will take you from installing WordPress to having a fully functioning website. You will learn how to use WordPress to create and manage your website with ease in this one-day class. This is a hands-on class where all participants will be able to work on their own WordPress website for the duration of the class. In addition, all participants will go home with a detailed guide covering the class material for future reference.

No experience is necessary!

WordPress has become the way to create gorgeous websites quickly without any programming or other technical skills. If you know how to use a browser and understand basic word processing, you can use WordPress. WordPress is a Web-publishing platform that provides an easy-to-use interface for creating and editing Web pages. WordPress can be used to create a blog-style website or a non-blog-style website, or a combination of the two.
