Hey All,
We have a very unique opportunity before us. A full length feature film "Sleeping and Waking" was shot here in DC recently and is planning a national release in October. Executive Producer Jeff Koepel has approached me with a desire to launch the film nationally on the iPhone, Android and Palm platforms and has offered to premier the movie for us followed by an open discussion about disrupting the current model for film distribution (largely controlled by a few large interests).
TeqCorner has agreed to host next Friday at 5:30PM. Please come if you are at all interested in how you might benefit or learn from this special project. I see this as a real opportunity for many involved in our group.

I like the idea of supporting a locally shot indie film and disrupting the Hollywood lock on movie content.
