You are invited to a special MeetUp , an evening with American freelance photojournalist Steve Meltzer and his wife Diane du Bois.

Diane du Bois has been a marketing, fund raising and public relations consultant for over 25 years.

As a fund raising professional, in the 1980s she created "The Climb of Mount Rainier" a fund raising project for the American Lung Association that continues to take place each July and has raised over FIVE MILLIONS dollars for charity.

In 2003 she lead a successful million dollar capital campaign to build a new church on Pine Island, Florida that reached exceeded its goal in less than a year. The church was built in time (and well enough) to serve as a shelter for residents displaced by the destruction of Hurricane Charley in 2004,

In her marketing and public relations work Diane provides advertising and marketing assistance to many businesses. One of her favorite clients was a Provence based small, boutique lavender products company who she helped introduce to the American market.

Steve’s work has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers and he is an author and columnist who writes about digital photography and photography for artists.

He will present some of his images at the MeetUp

Steve is the founder of West Stock photo agency in Seattle and one of the first photographers to sell images through CD-ROMs and online services.

He studied photography with such luminaries as Cornell Capa, Ernest Haas, W. Eugene Smith, Oliver Gagliani (Ansel Adams School) and others.

Steve will be in Paris researching material for a magazine article on American artists in Paris.

Please plan to join us for this special evening and bring everyone you know who loves photography.
