Whether you're a librarian who is currently employed, a library student enrolled at a local or remote ALA ILS program, or just someone who is considering the field, the NY Librarians Meetup group invites you to their October coffee hour. We'll meet after our tour of the New York County Lawyers' Association Library at [url=http://www.aubonpain.com]Au Bon Pain[/url], 222 Broadway, around the corner. They will be open until 10 PM, so please do drop by either by yourself or with a friend. Best to RSVP so we'll have an idea who's coming. A possible topic for our meetup might be subscription/membership libraries in the 21st Century. In addition, those of you who are familiar with law libraries, members of LLAGNY, might wish to exchange views on whither the future of law librarians and their institutions.
