Let's start 2010 with some good financial planning. Though this workshop seems not related to web 2.0/social media, it will include using web 2.0 sites and social media in developing a strategy. All of us can use some tips on retirement planning. (I know I do!).

Unlike saving for a house or paying down mortgage, retirement planning is a lifelong pursuit. It begins in your 20s and extends far beyond the day you exit the workplace. Saving up for retirement is not an easy task. Even if you diligently stash money away for decades, one investment misstep can mean the difference between a relaxing retirement and one that requires you to slave away at a job for years longer than anticipated.

To secure your dream retirement, we need to find out what mistakes to avoid. This workshop will be discussing what those mistakes are and how to avoid them.

We will also go over some useful websites & online tools to learn about using new technology to handle old-school retirement planning.
