Topic
Specwire is a wrire protocol for RSpec and Cucumber. The advantage of a wire protocol for a testing framework is to leverage the power of the framework while allowing the Code Under Test be execute in a different environment. That environment can be a remote location or even another programming language. imagine writing specs or cukes as usual and making them pass in C#, Python or Perl. Ed will be showing how to install and use the specwire gem snd will target the PHP platform. Spec_wire uses REST and JSON to implement the protocol, so it is straightforward to develop interfaces to other languages.

Published 9 years ago, running time 0h34m
Scott sits down with NSpec authors Matt Florence and Amir Rajan to talk about Behavior Driven Development (BDD). Where does one start with BDD? Is BDD just TDD with a fancier name or can it really chance how you design software? The NSpec guys set Scott on the right path.
