This will be an overview of intellectual property covering trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and patents. This meetup should be very helpful to many of the entrepreneurs in this group.

The presentation will be given by Sanjay Agrawal. Sanjay Agrawal is the Principal of The Agrawal Law Firm, LLC, which recently opened in January 2010. The Agrawal Law Firm represents clients in the areas of Intellectual Property, Criminal Law, and Personal Injury. The firm is unique in that it provides discounted IP and technology commercialization services for startup companies. Sanjay has thirteen years of legal experience having worked for law firms in St. Louis and Chicago. He was in-house patent counsel for a Fortune 100 company and Chief IP Counsel for a global consulting company. He has significant experience advising inventors, entrepreneurs, startup, and Fortune 500 companies as well as major universities in India in the areas of corporate and intellectual property. Sanjay is also the owner of Traffic Law Rescue. He is currently a mentor for Innovate VMS (the Venturing mentoring service of Innovate St. Louis) and a consultant for the University of Texas Global Commercialization Group. Sanjay's education includes a MS in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, a MS in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas, and a law degree from St. Louis University.
