In December 2008, after a background in Big 4 Accounting/Professional Services firms and working up to the COO role, Matthew moved to Paris with his wife and 2 children under 2, to enroll in the Executive MBA program at HEC Paris.

Inspired by Paris and the MBA course he started a Vespa rental business, Left Bank Scooters, in Paris in June 2009. Within 4 months LBS was rated the #4 Thing to Do in Paris by Trip Advisor and had expended into providing day tours of Paris from the back of a Vespa.

Now after 9 months in operation, LBS is opening in Nice and looking for further expansion locations in Southern Europe.

Matthew will share his experience as the Foreign Entrepreneur in France, focusing on the opportunities for Entrepreneurs in France.

The Senior Executive who has gained a broad base of experience across IT, Finance, HR, Marketing & Risk.
