A sensational lineup of female recording artists – Universal Motown's Kat DeLuna, Shontelle, and Cara Salimando, Lenka, MoZella, and Kelli Pyle – will make music Thursday, June 10th during Internet Week New York in New York City to make a difference for girls worldwide. For the full agenda and more details, please see http://girlswhorockny...

Your ticket to Girls Who Rock- $20 for general admission and $50 for VIP (includes food & drinks) will support girls' sponsorship in Tanzania via Africaid, a member of She's the First that was founded by 25-year-old Ashley Shuyler of Colorado. We've chosen Africaid as beneficiary of the first GIRLS WHO ROCK concert because the organization piloted The Kisa Project, an initiative that gives Tanzanian teen girls a secondary school scholarship and enrolls them in a two-year leadership and computer training program. The girls take digital storytelling workshops and learn to share their lives with their sponsors through rich, vivid videos. Everyone who attends GIRLS WHO ROCK will be co-sponsors for our girls in The Kisa Project and able to connect with them via shesthefirst.org.

We are excited to team up with not only Internet Week New York but Livestream to broadcast the event live at www.livestream.com/girlswhorock and You Sing I Write, which will feature updates about our artists. Follow @GirlsWhoRockNY
