Don Vilen was on the SQL Server team at Microsoft for 13 years and helped develop six versions of SQL Server.
Before joining Buysight in October 2010, Don Vilen was Principal Architect at Scalability Experts for nearly 3 years, in Seattle, New York City, and around the world, working with Microsoft SQL Server database customers, guiding them through complex performance, upgrade, migration, and consolidation projects.
Don was on the SQL Server team at Microsoft from to 1994 to 2007 as the Program Manager on the Storage Engine component of SQL Server, focusing on high availability and the storage of large objects.
