Tests carried out in its lab demonstrate that the latest Perforce Server can create a codeline branch of 100,000 files ten times faster than previous versions, and Perforce 2007.2 also offers new client capabilities in both the Perforce Visual Client, which provides quick and easy access to versioned files through a graphical interface consistent across Windows, Solaris, FreeBSD, Mac OS X and Linux, and the Perforce Web Client, which provides access to versioned files through popular web browsers.
