Infragistics focuses on presentation layer strategy

Taking its cue from Microsoft’s recent announcement of Visual Studio Team System, software publisher Infragistics has released a video and position paper arguing that presentation layer development is currently a key topic for application architects.

Gartner analyst Mark Driver argues that presentation layer development accounts for up to 40% of the time spent in the application development process, and should therefore be a Tier 1 strategy for enterprises. The video suggests that Microsoft’s forthcoming Team System offering will help improve ROI, by facilitating the implementation of an integrated presentation layer strategy throughout an organisation.
