The Compuware Application Reliability Solution (CARS) 4.1’s Executive Dashboard is intended to improve management-level understanding of current quality issues by presenting snapshots of key performance testing metrics. It creates reports regarding the overall health of projects, and keeps the team informed on whether projects are on schedule, within budget and meeting business requirements. Features include:
  • Earned Value Analysis (EVA) metrics
  • CARS Release Index – provides a snapshot of the quality assurance process and the progress of projects
  • Colour-Coded Field Alerts for a quick assessment the overall health of a project
  • Drill-Down Views – “at-a-glance” business intelligence on an entire application portfolio
  • Microsoft Project Integration – project-related data can be sent directly from Microsoft Project Server 2003, and imported from .MPP files (Microsoft Project format) or .CSV files
CARS 4.1 offers integration of the Application Quality Workbench (AQW) with Microsoft Project, allowing project schedule and cost summary data to be passed to the workbench. Additionally, Process Audit Reports can be created. It also introduces the QualityPoint Repository, an automated central repository of QualityPoint test assets to ensure consistency between projects, content control and document retention.
