BEA Systems has announced the availability of WebLogic Server Process Edition, which is specifically designed to help organisations reap the benefits of service-oriented architecture (SOA).

The new version of BEA’s application server incorporates application development and business process management (BPM), and is designed to provide a ‘process-driven’ approach to building service-oriented applications.

The company claims that WebLogic is one of the first products in its class designed to provide service enablement, service orchestration and composite application development from a single IDE running on unified run-time architecture.
