The SOA Leaders Council, an industry body focusing on service-oriented architectures (SOAs) made optimistic predictions at its first ever London meeting, held at the end of the summer. The council usually meets in venues in the US, but a UK branch was recently formed.

Attended by over 50 SOA experts and interested parties, the meeting discussed a wide range of SOA topics. The general opinion was that SOA technology could anticipate a bright future, with skill shortages being the only potential cloud in the sky.
