ActiveBar 2.0

Conclusion

I don't it to sound like this product is useless - yes, it makes life difficult, but when compared to creating your own code for docking toolbars, then its like a stroll down the street. If you persevere with this control, you can produce very professional interfaces, with all the features of Office 2000. However, despite a well developed front-end, creating these interfaces are far more difficult than it should be. On the other hand, it is just as well the 'buggy' side is what the developer uses, not your own users.

If you have the time and patience to spend working with this control, then you will eventually be rewarded, but you need plenty of time! Unfortunately, at the moment, I have not found another similar control, so if you want an interface like this in VB, you will have to persevere. On the other hand, it might be worth waiting until .NET, which will see all the features C++ programmers have access too!
