Winsock Hazard

    Hi all,

I seem to have a problem when using Microsoft Winsock control. I've followed the tutorials available here on how to create and use the Microsoft Winsock control.

My concern lies mostly on the stability of the program. Has anyone ever discovered that once you open a port by calling 'winsock1.listen', the program won't exit properly even if you've called 'winsock1.close'.

Why is this happening??? I was thinking that i should unload the 'winsock1' control by calling 'unload winsock1' before i exit my program, but i won't work!!! Why??? Why??? Why??? (PS: Maybe i don't know how, that's why i post my question here so that all the programmers out there can show me a way...)

May anyone please tell me why and show me how to exit the program properly...

    Regards,
    Jacky
