    Hi,
I have just been offered a job as a network solutions engineer. Basically finding best network solutions for customers who want to incorporate our products into their existing environment, recreating their environments etc. My back ground up to this has been Unix Admin and some database managmenet stuff. This new job would mean getting cisco certification etc. Does this sound like a good career move?? What is the demand for cisco certified engineers etc. It seems good to me but some expert advice would be good.
