Prevent internet sites

    Hi All,

    I want to prevent all internet access from users on a standalone machine. This machine is just a normal xp pro build with dial up internet access. Now my client wants only selected internet sites from being viewed

    www.multimap.co.uk
    www.italiafinefood.co.uk

    All other internet releated sites are to be blocked. Now I have looked into the host file way but I can still gain access to the web.

    Please advise me on the easy way

    most virus scanners and security software suites come with internet filters these days, and they usually have setting where they can block EVERYTHING except permitted web sites.

    or IE's content manager might be able to do it, but the security in that is laughable
