Java 1.5 (aka Tiger or v5.0) Released!

    Well Sun has finally released v1.5 of their "Java" platform, its been renamed to v5.0...

    Forgive me for sounding so blunt but why is netbeans(i've been using it at uni since 3.x) taking on the form of Visual Studio.NET? Heck even Java Studio Creator is mimicking MS products(guess which one?)... do Sun's engineers have no idea how to re-invent the wheel and be original? (ISVs are OK, but big companies like that should be setting the standard...)
