Storing PHP's time()

    Hi,

    In my database I'd like to store a value obtained by PHP's time() function.  For some reason it won't store the time() whereas other variables are.  I know I could use NOW() in the UPDATE query but it does need to be time().  I'm puzzled as to what type the field should be in the table
