  You can't receive emails through SMTP!!! This protocol is used to Transfer(send) emails NOT to receive.

  You can fin a great mail component here: mail.dll
  It can donload and parse any mail from pop3 servers.
  Decodes attachments from base64 and Quoted-Printable, and
  has great documentation.
