Propeties button diabled

    Hi ,


    The properties button in the local area connection window is disabled.How can i enable it.Can anyone of you come up with a tweak.

    it sounds as if you are not an administrator ..

    Though i have all the rights of an administrator i am not sure where the option is.The comapny admin department guys have disabled those buttons so that i dont get to connect to the internet

    It sounds as if it is working correctly - talk to your network guys.

    click the LAN icon the then press Alt+Enter.

    Not meaning to sound personal, but I hope you are wrong, because if an administrator has disbled the properties, and your suggestion works then security is being breached.


    I shall test later on win2000 and report back
