i'm new to these help forums, and i'm new to this problem with my wireless internet connection!
so i need a lot of help because i'm not the brightest when it comes to this stuff.

    okay here is my problem
my wireless network on my lap top is all set up and was working fine for 2 weeks, just yesterday
i did the usual got connected, but my internet wasn't working. "cannot find server or DNS error" and my msn wouldn't work...etc.
i thought this may be a problem with the service but my pc (the one i'm on now) is working fine.

i checked the wireless network connection status on my lap top and usually in the activity place, when the packets are sent i always see them being received but it says "packets: 125 |  0 (received)

i really need to know what the problem is so i can fix it?

my broadband router is a linksys wireless - G

    thanks in advance.

    welcome

probably one of your settings has got changed for some reason. you could check them all, or if you're not sure what they're meant to be... have you tried system restore? (assuming you're running Win ME or XP)

    Hi

    Two suggestions

    1) are all the lights on router showing correctly ?

    2) have you tried switching router off, wait 10 seconds and switch back on. Then watch the lights to ensure it gets connected to broadband.
