Lock file of MS Access stays open

  I work with a MS Access database and several ASP pages and often my website is unreachable because of the lock file of the database stays open. Although in all my pages I close correctly the RecordSet and connection. Als all my pages is only to retrieve data and nowhere I write to the database.
