  I need to create a database for a glass and aluminium company.
  

  
  They need to, for a certain product, enter in length width etc, then the program prints out a cutting list of the various parts that will be cut.  I can get the formulas off the company.
  

  
  another thing i thought might be useful, is if they could could create new products: enter in the product name, specify what materials will be used and enter in formuales for what sizes the material need to be cut.
  

  
  Ony problem is I just don't know where to start.
  

  
  Any help to get me on the right track would be much appreciated.
