help wanted with textfile to database

  I am new in programming with VB6.0
  For hobby i want to create a database out of frequently posted textfile's to my e-mailbox.
  The information in the textfile is buildup as followed:
  DN880013009000801500090003008000800116020008001171500080011810000800164020008001190400080017004000820055020
  VN88001327600057851021120041208 1000001000667908?????????? 1  36   1I
  

  
  DN stands for data information
  VN stands for actual data
  

  
  My problem is not to get te data out of the textfile but how to create code in VB6 to work with the textfile to extraxt data en to put it in to the specific table in to the acces database. how do i work with both file's
