Redirect to backup server if primary ser

    The scenario is :

We have an company intranet site and on one of the pages is a link to a specific URL - say "cuttings.htm"

This URL resides on 2 servers  - a primary server and a backup server.  It MUST be accessed from the primary server unless the primary server is down when it should be accessed from the backup server.  This change in URL should be transparent to the user and so must be taken care of by either VBScript, JavaScript or HTML.

e.g  Primary Server page URL is  //isuclarweb4/main/KN/drd/cuttings.htm

and  Backup Server page URL is  //drdclarweb1/KN/cuttings.htm

if the browser cannot connect  to the page on the Primary Server then the page on the Backup Server is displayed.  If the backup server is then unavailable then a formal message should be displayed.
