Querying a MySQL DB in VB

    hey everyone,
     I am undertaking a project for which I am needing to query a MySQL database in my VB Application


    Does anyone know how to do this? Or if you know anywhere/one that might help then I would appreachiate it

    I have MySQL installed and I am running a Xitami server,
    Is it possible to simply make a SQL query from VB or do I have to do some crazy VB programming?


    p.s I am not such an experienced VB programmer, I usually work with online databasing but I just need to figure this out as an example of how a VB application could run this online world, its currently stored in a MySQL database as its noramlly all text driven with php.
