Inserting Null

    Hi All


    I am having problems trying to set number fields in access97 to null.  My database is not accepting null values in fields of type byte or interger, but it is accepting them for long integer.


    The default value for the field is null (and that is ok for byte and integer) and i have got [required] and [indexed] set to no, so i don't know where the problem lies....


    please help.
