Seeing and opening Word files from Access (VBA Automation)

    Hi,

I need help controlling files from Access via VBA.

I can create directories and files (with the help of this fantastic forum).  But how do I “see” Word files from within a form or report (so as not to overwrite them when creating new)?  And if a Word file already exists, can it then be opened (via my form)?

    Greatly appreciate any input.

    Dave
