Please Help: Access 2003 VBA cannot use some of MSComm Property or Method

  Hi,

  Would appreciate it if anyone could able to advice me on the below problem.

  1. Able to register the MSComm32.ocx via the form designer

  2. Able to place the MSComm32 activex into the form.

  3. Able to browse the MSComm32 via the Object Browser and all the properties and methods are visible

  4. However, when trying to develop the codes,

                 MSComm1.Input, MSComm1.Output are not available and receive the following error

                 "Object doesn't support this property or method" when excuting the VBA codes.
