MySql and visual basic deployment problem

  Hi,

  I am facing a huge dilemma.

  I had earlier created a dbase in mysql and was connected to a frontend in vb.

  This was deployed to a customer and it worked fine.

  The customer asked me to resolve a bug and i did that,and when i now have installed the newer application,the old data seems to be not fetched by the query.

  there are multiple observations here:

  the query that fetches the rows has no dependence on dates.

  the data is present in the database,as it has been verified by using the query browser.

  when i enter a new row in the table ,only the new row can be fetched, and the older rows are not fetched.

  the mdac version on my development and customer machines is 2.81

  the entire app works fine on my dev machine.

  Could you cite what could be wrong?
