Connect To Oracle Using SSIS

I need to use SSIS to connect to an Oracle backend. Initially I thought it would be just a question of using the OLE-DB Oracle provider, and I would be up and running. However, I shortly realised that I needed to download the Oracle Client. I went to Oracle and downloaded the free basic client. Altered the Windows PATH environment variable to accomodate the new Oracle DLLs, but am sure I'm still missing something, as SSIS keeps on telling me to install the oracle client before the OLE-DB can be used. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or even better give beginning to end steps on setting up a connection twix SSIS and Oracle?

    Thanks in advance
