    Seriously, I personally think C# just gives you more opportunities, and more flexibility with apps. Yes, Java is platform independant, and can work in both OS environment as well as web environment. Everything is evolving into .NET. I am not saying don't do Java, I'm saying with both Java as well as C#, you'll be highly saught after programmer

    I personnally like C# more, the SDK is more user friendly. :)

    It is a matter of preference but C# and the whole Microsoft stack makes it easier to develop. also, Visual Studio is an amazing tool.
