  • Rockland County Android Developer Meetup

    Tue, 8 Feb 2011, 00:00 - 02:00 in Suffern, United States

Sometimes we just don't want to cross the bridge.  There are too many people commuting to the city from Rockland County.  I've been running a software company for over 10 years in Rockland.  We do web, mobile, design and more.  Would love to meet other people on this side of the bridge to exchange ideas and potentially help people with their careers.

  • Monthly (Informal) MeetUps?

    Fri, 4 Feb 2011, 00:00 - 02:00 in New York, United States

Would anyone be interested in having some sort of regular mixer/networking meeting? It would be an opportunity for group members to have a few drinks, share a few stories on what they've been working on. I'm thinking it would be an informal way for members to stay connected and engaged withone another without a lot of pressure to the group moderators to line up guest speakers/presenters.

  • A special joint meetup with The New York Java Meetup Group!

16-17 Nov 2009 in New York, United States

Our friends over at The New York Java Meetup Group have offered their space for a joint meetup for this month, with the focus being specifically on Android. With several devices having been released since the last meetup, Android firmware v2.0 going live, and the Google Android Labs NYC event happening this month, there will be a lot of new opinions, ideas, and questions. What better way to take them on then to join forces!

  • The New York Android Developers Meetup October Event

8-9 Oct 2009 in New York, United States

Thanks for joining us at August's meetup at Fast Company and showing off your apps. A lot has happened since then. For one, we'll be having our meeting at a new location. One of our organizers, Lynne d Johnson, who was a senior editor at FastCompany, now works at The Advertising Research Foundation and that's where our meetings will move to. If you have an app or design mockups of your app, come show it off to the group.

  • The New York Android Software Developers August Meetup

25-26 Aug 2009 in New York, United States

It's been a while since we've had our last NY Android Developers' Meetup, so we've decided that needs to be fixed. At the last meeting we began planning a group project to build an Android app, but a lot has changed in the time between events. Before we dive back into that, we want to discuss what Cupcake brought to the table and how your experiences have changed with it along with future builds of the OS and what devices they will be supporting (and the feelings of G1 users being left behind).
