Software Development Community

This meet up will meet monthly and consist of industry professionals that have been involved in software development for five years or more. The intention for this group is that it will be an informal and interactive group of people that have a passion for software development, thus are interested in code excellence and employing best practices. We will discuss and demonstrate various aspects of the software development life cycle, design patterns, UML, exception handling, unit testing, various conventions, software architecture and OOP. The languages discussed will be Java and/or C#.Net. We will also discuss various utilities and industry trends (Examples: Cloud Computing, Silverlight). You are encouraged to bring your laptop.
