Problem in sending strings with spaces from to execute an MS Access query

  Hi I have an ASP.Net website which consumes a VB active x dll.The website has a dropdown list box whose values are strings with spaces.When an INSERT query stored in MS Access is called,there is a problem in the execution of the query.The strings get parsed correctly from ASP to VB.When query is called from I am getting the following error message. *[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Invalid SQL statement; expected 'DELETE', 'INSERT', 'PROCEDURE', 'SELECT', or 'UPDATE'.* Is it that string values with spaces shouldn't be used?
