Ask any PHP developer, they'll say they've created a CMS at some point in their career, but with WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, it's really reinventing the wheel. However, building a basic CMS is a great practice in code development because it touches on the CRUD (CReate, Update and Delete) system and permissions & authentication.

This workshop will require the attendee to bring a laptop with MAMP (Mac) or WAMP (windows) installed. We will be code-writing together with brainstorming and Q&A sessions. Food and geeky fun!

----------------

Part 3 of 3 - Building the membership module.
We will create a membership system for accounts to administer the site. This will cover roles and sessions.
